Virgo

Virgo being the second largest constellation ever is named for the sixth astrological zodiac sign. People born in between August 23 and September 22 will fall under this group and are commonly called as Virgoans or Virgos among others. Every year it spans between the 150 and 180 degrees. Virgo has a symbol ♍ which describes an Astraea maiden. She was believed to be the last immortal person at the end of the Silver Age according to Greek mythology.

There are different historical instances associated with the Virgo sign. She was also said to the mother of Persephone according to Roman mythology. The same zodiac sign is called as Kanya in India which means the virgin lady. Often Virgo is shown with a single lady with long hairs everywhere. She is said to be the disappointed goddess.
